Our Community Involvement Kiliman Treks and Bikes is proud to support the Kili Center. The Kili Centre, located in Moshi rural, Tanzania, was founded by Michael Mpombo in June of 2006. It is a registered Non-Governmental Organization* that provides care to orphans and street children. The organization runs a Residential Care Centre and intends to run different projects such as Uncle and Aunt Project, Community Economic Support Groups (CESGs), Research Projects, and Outreach Health Education Projects (OHEP-HIV/AIDS). At the Residential Care Centre the children receive services such as food, clothing, shelter, health care, counseling, and education (early childhood and primary education). Currently the Kili Centre houses 30 orphans and street children (14 girls and 16 boys ranging from ages 4 to 13).
